Battle Royale vs Hunger Games? Just fuck off, seriously.
Sick of people comparing Battle Royale to The Hunger Games. Jesus fucking christ. “I saw Battle Royale before Hunger Games. It’s so much better and the latter is a rip-off.” Is basically all I’m seeing.
I saw Battle Royale when I was thirteen. NOT THAT IT BLOODY MATTERS. Sure they have a similar plotline, but they’re aimed at different audiences and they focus on different matters. People need to read more into things. Especially since BR is a horror that is focused on Japanese politics and HG is based on a teen love story. UGHHHH SOME PEOPLE. /jumps off cliff
While we’re at it, let’s all start comparing Rocky and Ali, Step up and Streetdance, Scream and Halloween, etc etc etc… even though it’s pointless and no-one cares.
